this leadership campaign, I have been focused on a single mission: to renew the
BC Liberals by broadening our party’s appeal, so we can win the next election.
Broadening our appeal means rebuilding and uniting our coalition so that many more British Columbians see a reflection of themselves and their values.
This means getting past false choices, and approaching politics in a new way.
It means recognizing that a strong economy, a healthy environment, smart social programs, and much-needed infrastructure are all interconnected.
We need them all. We can’t pick and choose.
Acknowledging this fact is exactly what we need to do regain the trust of British Columbians.
It's what we need to stop the polarized politics that John Horgan's reckless, irresponsible NDP depends on.
I hope you’ll join us.
Together, united, we can build a much stronger future.
